Village Home Service was amazing
Village Home Service was amazing. On a Friday at 1:00 pm, a truck ripped the power line, conduit, and meter from my house. Within 2 hours, Kevin showed up and worked into the evening replacing everything, including arranging for the town inspector to sign off and place the order for the utility to run new power to the house. Kevin was very experienced, communicated everything he was doing/why, and couldn’t have been more pleasant to work with. When I need any electrical work done, the only people I’ll call is Village Home Service.

Craig figured out the issue fast
I smelled a little gas from time to time over a couple weeks from my gas fireplace. I called today at lunchtime and by 3 p.m., Craig had the issue figured out, showed me what the problem was, and laid out the options. A crack in the original pilot pipe was causing the smell. Turns out I needed a new part so they tracked one down to order and will be back when it comes in.

I was having an awful time after the most recent storm. My pipes had frozen and the space heaters I got to heat up my garage had caused electrical problems. So with no water or heat, I just Googled "local electrician" and hoped for the best while honestly expecting the worst. Luckily, I found this company. I spoke with Noelle in Customer Service who INCREDIBLY was able to get someone out within a few hours. Noelle was so nice and understanding about how stressed out and frustrated I was. I was floored by how fast the response time was. The electricians Seth and Mikey immediately got to work, assessing and fixing the electrical problem. They were clear and upfront about pricing, and the customer approves any cost prior to work, so there are no surprises. I want to note that this business requires payment at the time of service. I personally prefer this because you're not having to keep track of bills. I highly recommend this business.

Craig did a wonderful job as usual! He problem-solved our air handler motor issue and the noise it was making after the new motor was installed. We are very happy with his attentive oversight to the issue and working with us to get to a solution. Village really is a very customer-oriented company and will do what it takes to ensure you are completely satisfied with their work, so we won’t go anywhere else for any of our HVAC, plumbing, and electrical needs!

Above and beyond service
Brendon from Village Home Services was able to respond promptly to a weekend call on one of the coldest nights of the year when my furnace failed. He explained everything that was going on and was quite likeable to talk to. It didn't feel like a salesman pushing things on my wife and me but more like a knowledgeable person guiding us in the right direction. You don't often find people like that in the industry. Because of that, we agreed to get a new furnace to replace our old one. He was also there during the installation 2 days later with Gus and both did a remarkable job with their work. They also worked with us on doing work around the time our 1-year-old was napping, and they provided coloring books for our child after they were done. That's above and beyond in my coloring book (pun intended). I would gladly hire Village Home Services again.
